"Hetao-Nice Standardization Forum" Special Training：Driving Standards Internationalization and Empowering the High-Quality Development of the Hetao International Organization Headquarters

Currently, China is accelerating the establishment of a new development paradigm and promoting high-quality economic and social development. Standardization, as a crucial technical foundation for modernizing the national governance system and capabilities, is seeing its strategic importance increasingly highlighted. To actively respond to the National Standardization Development Outline, support the overall innovation and development of the Hetao International Organization Headquarters (hereinafter referred to as "Hetao Headquarters"), enhance the understanding of standardization among its members, and empower its high-quality development, the "Hetao-Nice Standards Forum" special training, hosted by the Comentropy Industry and Standards Innovation Service Center (hereinafter referred to as "Comentropy Service Center"), was successfully held at the Hetao Headquarters on the afternoon of June 16, 2025.

This training was delivered by Mr. Luis Jorge Romero, Chief Strategy Officer of the Comentropy Service Center and former Director-General of the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI), serving as the training instructor. As an authoritative expert in the global standardization field, Mr. Luis, drawing on his rich international experience and profound professional background, delivered an insightful professional presentation to the participants. Together, they discussed the significance and value of standardization, promoting the integrated development of technical standardization and regional innovation.

During the training, Mr. Luis elaborated on six core chapters: "Introduction to Standardization," "The Standardization Ecosystem," "A Strategic and Economic Perspective," "Standardization and Innovation," "IPR and Standardization," and "Producing Standards." Using detailed data, international case studies, and cutting-edge perspectives, he comprehensively analyzed the pivotal role of standardization in industrial development, technological innovation, and international cooperation. In the interactive session, participants actively posed questions and engaged in lively discussions on industry practices and technical standards, further deepening their understanding and application of standardization.

This training provided members of the Hetao Headquarters and relevant practitioners with a new perspective on standardization, deepening their understanding and appreciation of its core values. Furthermore, this training not only enhanced the Hetao Headquarters' international standardization cooperation, technological innovation, and regional economic development but also contributed to establishing the Hetao Headquarters as an international standardization demonstration zone.

The successful conclusion of this "Hetao-Nice Standards Forum" special training has not only significantly enhanced the standardization awareness and practical capabilities of the members of the Hetao International Organization Headquarters but has also injected new momentum into the internationalization of regional standards.
