AllianceHub V2.1 Enhance Flexibility&Usability in Collaboration:Proposal Process Restructuring and Group Naming Optimization to Enhance Collaboration Flexibility and Usability
2025-06-16

To further enhance system flexibility and usability, AllianceHub completed an important functional upgrade today. This update focuses on proposal process restructuring and naming system adjustments, aiming to improve the platform's compatibility with diverse organizational structures and make processes easier for users to understand.
01 Proposal Process Restructuring: More Flexible Configuration, More Efficient Collaboration
This upgrade comprehensively restructures the proposal management process. While retaining existing security mechanisms, it adds multiple flexible configuration options to support diverse organizational collaboration needs:
1.1. Support for Custom Proposal Numbering

Organizations can customize proposal numbering formats according to internal specifications, meeting the unified management needs of industry associations, standards organizations, etc., for proposal document numbering, enhancing document standardization and traceability.
1.2. Support for Custom Proposal Stages

Users can define the stages a proposal goes through according to organizational processes, such as "Preliminary Review - Evaluation - Revision - Public Comment - Publication," achieving deep integration of process alignment and content management to meet the business processes of different organizations.
1.3. Support for Inviting Groups or Individuals to Collaborate

Group administrators are responsible for stage management and can invite other groups or members to participate in proposal work. This breaks through the previous limitation of participation being restricted to current group members, effectively improving collaboration efficiency. The multi-role participation mechanism makes the entire proposal process more transparent and the division of labor more reasonable.
1.4. Proposal Administrators Can Change Submitters

Proposal administrators can adjust the submitter during the collaboration process, ensuring accurate responsibility assignment and reasonable permission configuration. This provides mechanism support for internal role adjustments and task handovers within the organization.
1.5. Security Assurance

While flexibly expanding, AllianceHub continues to ensure data security. Permission controls for all participants remain precise and manageable, ensuring that sensitive information is shared and operated only within the authorized scope.
"Workgroup" Renamed to "Group": Eliminating Ambiguity, Unifying Understanding

To avoid conceptual confusion in different organizational structures, AllianceHub has uniformly renamed the original "Workgroup" to "Group."
In many alliances or industry organizations, "Workgroup" often refers to a specific administrative structure or a long-term technical organization. This renaming not only avoids naming ambiguity but also helps users understand the collaborative units within the platform more clearly, enhancing intuitiveness and consistency in use.
03 Summary
This upgrade is both an active response by AllianceHub to user feedback and a reflection of the system's continuous evolution in supporting organizational collaboration models. The restructuring of the proposal process and the optimization of the naming system will help the platform provide professional and efficient service support in a wider range of organizational environments.
In the future, AllianceHub will continue to iterate products around user scenarios, creating a more flexible and intelligent collaboration platform, facilitating knowledge sharing and retention, standards setting, and collective innovation among organizations.
